The Veterans History Project began in 2000 for the purpose of documenting the lives of American WWII Veterans. Later, the project was expanded to any veteran on active duty or who has served in any branch of the Armed Services in any era. Students were given the task to interview a veteran, present their narrative in a multimedia presentation, and share it with the veteran, their class, and most importantly, the Library of Congress.
On Thursday, April 30, 2009 and on Thursday, April 14, 2011, the students presented the completed veteran packets to the Library of Congress. You can find components from those packets for each veteran listed on the left.

Honor Your Veterans and those who still serve!
